India has always been the land of flavours, the kind that made explorers cross oceans. Times have changed, but our love for the zing and zesty remains the same. Masalas are the soul of all our culinary preparations. These are humble elixirs hidden away in every kitchen. They are the secret sauce of every mother’s recipes; an aroma that lingers in all our memories.
But somewhere down the line, the regular masalas just lost their charm. Our meals stopped tasting like they used to. They feel soulless! That’s why we bring to you Eechahi- pure and honest masalas, seasonings, and more, that reintroduce real flavours to your everyday cooking. It is a touch of earthy wholesomeness, that cannot be bottled by the big brands and factory lines.
To us, masalas are a tradition, sourced and stone ground in the rich soil of Prayagraj. Yes, we do not machine grind. Our blends are hand-pounded on the natural stone and mortar, also known as the iconic sil batta. Just the way our dadis and nanis did it!
We are earnestly reviving an age-old art lost in this fast-paced world. All this to bring to you the boldest, most authentic and unforgettable flavours. All the way from whole and powdered masalas to pickles and more, our creations are made without colours or preservatives.
What’s even better? Behind every packet of an Eechahi product, is the skill of a local Purvanchali, passed through generations. This endeavor provides opportunity to local workers, and most of them are women. We are proud to be community centric, bringing you fresh flavours straight from the heartland.
